DEANNA THE MUSICAL / aka “An Evening with Her Royal Highness, Deanna, Princess of New South Wales” is a new comedy musical that sends up Australia’s very own Royal Family.

 

A fairy story about Doctor Lady Deanna Spender who, in marrying the Crown Prince of New South Wales, Prince Bruce, becomes Deanna, Princess of New South Wales.
Ten years have passed since then. Prince Bruce’s Mum, The Queen still hasn’t fallen off the twig and Princess Deanna’s wondering:Can being a Princess be a career path for a woman of today realistically? Is Bruce all she thought he could be? And where does she want to be?

    1. Thank you Julie for all your on going friendship, encouragement and support over soo many years. You and I’ve loved each other’s art for a lot of years – whatever form it took -writing, acting, singing, clowning, painting, drawing, jewellery creation etc. Now, to be able to work on an art project like “Deanna ” with you is my dream come true. My script would still be sitting in the drawer for the next 25 years, as it did for the previous 25, if it weren’t for you. Love Dee xo
